The research purpose is to experimentally test the "30 seconds" method to increase the effectiveness of motivation in the formation of competencies in the preparation and self-presentation of a physical culture, health, tourism and recreational project for a family.
Methods and organization of research: modeling, expert assessment, experiment, methods of mathematical statistics. The experiment was conducted in 2 stages. At the second stage (mainly during the lesson), the task was to convince the experts of the intention to participate in the project in 30 seconds using self–presentation skills (without photo and video presentations), clearly stating the essence of the project (the main criteria: time, content and organization of the project: what, where, how, when, duration, participants, result, persuasiveness) – the number of self-presentation attempts was counted before the experts approved.
The research results and their discussion. A total of 23 physical culture, health, tourism and recreational projects for the family were developed. The generalization of the results of the experiment showed that during one lesson 84 attempts were made using the specified "30 seconds" method for self-presentation of projects, the efficiency range was within 30-100 percent (points), and the average efficiency was 82.7%.
Conclusion. It has been proven that the use of the developed "30 seconds" method made it possible to increase the effectiveness of students' situational readiness to improve their self-presentation skills, and bring them to 100% in the whole group, solve the task set before the lesson and form the necessary competencies.
