The research purpose is to evaluate the impact of the developed algorithms for independent design of students' motor modes outside of school hours, depending on their state of health, gender, physical fitness, motivation, individual interests and preferences for sports and motor activity, on the indicators of physical development, physical fitness, functional fitness and somatic health of students in the process of educational and daily activities.
Research organization. The study was conducted from February to June 2024. The study involved 240 first- and second-year studentsof the Belgorod State National Research University, including 148 girls (74 main health group, 74 special medical health group) and 92 boys (46 main health group, 46 special medical health group).
Research methods: study, analysis, comparison of scientific and methodological literature data on the studied problem of domestic and foreign scientists, testing of physical qualities, the index method, functional tests, methods of mathematical statistics.
The results of the research and their discussion. A comparative analysis of the data obtained made it possible to assess the degree of influence of the developed algorithms for self-designing students' motor modes outside of school hours, depending on their health status, gender, physical fitness, motivation, individual interests and preferences of sports and motor activity, on the indicators of physical development, physical fitness, functional fitness and somatic health of students.
Conclusion. The conducted research allowed to scientifically substantiate the mechanisms of modeling the motor modes of modern students from the position of personality-oriented and system-activity approaches. Reliable changes in the indicators of physical development, physical fitness, functional fitness and somatic health of students made it possible to verify their effectiveness in strengthening health, meeting the biological need for movement and fostering a healthy behavior style of students.
