The procedure for reviewing and publishing materials in the journal is carried out in accordance with the editorial regulations of the journal and international standards of publication ethics. All submitted materials are subject to a phased editorial review within the established time frame.
- Sending articles.
Submission of the article's manuscript is made via the journal's website. To publish an article in the journal, the author (s) must register on its website https://sciencesport.ru/send and they send materials by following the requirements of the article design instructions:
‒ An article with full identification markers, designed according to the rules for authors (link).
‒ A cover letter (commitment), with the signatures of all authors, in the order of their location in the manuscript and indicating the corresponding author.
- Procedure for examination of articles with technical requirements (primary and technical expertise — up to 7 calendar days)
Manuscripts of the author (s) are subject to an expert examination for the originality of texts through the "Anti-Plagiarism UNIVERSITY" system, which is used by the publisher to check for anti-plagiarism in educational, scientific, and publication activities of the university. Manuscripts with an original text level of less than 75% are considered by the editorial board as potentially unoriginal and, as a rule, are not accepted for further consideration. The final decision is made by the editorial board, taking into account the nature of borrowings, the correctness of citations and the scientific context.
Editors review the manuscript for compliance with structural and technical requirements and determine whether the article meets the journal's profile.
Within 7 days, the authors receive confirmation that the material has been received by the editorial office in the publishing system and that the article meets or does not meet the requirements of the journal. If the authors refuse to finalize the materials, they must notify the editorial board of their refusal to publish the article. If the authors do not return the revised version after one month from the date of sending comments, even if there is no information from the authors with a refusal to finalize the article, the editorial board removes it from the register.
- Article review procedure
Within one month, the editorial board informs the author (s) about the results of the review. If the review contains recommendations for correcting and updating the article, the editorial board sends the author the text of the review with a proposal to take them into account when preparing a new version of the article or to refute them with a reasoned argument. The article that has been revised by the author is re-sent for review.
If the authors refuse to finalize the materials, they must notify the editorial board of their refusal to publish the article. If the authors do not return the revised version after one month from the date of sending the review, even if there is no information from the authors with the refusal to finalize the article, the editorial board removes it from the register.
- Acceptance of the article for publication.
The decision to publish in the journal is made within 14 calendar working days after receiving all reviews, taking into account the fulfillment of all the requirements for the submitted manuscript; positive conclusions of reviewers, members of the editorial board and the editor-in-chief.
After the decision is made, the results are reported to the author (s) on acceptance/rejection of the manuscript for publication.
- Fee for processing and reviewing manuscripts.
Upon acceptance of the article within 14 working days, the author / authors are paid for the services of processing manuscripts. (for more information, follow the link)
- Proofreading the text.
The editorial board has the right to carry out scientific and stylistic editing of the received materials, coordinating all actions to change the article with the author (s). After the proofreading process, the authors submit a completed license agreement.
The date of acceptance of the material in the issue is considered to be the date when the editor accepts the final version of the article for publication.
