Author charges
The journal's policy, consistent with international standards of scientific ethics, excludes publication fees.
The journal's editorial board does not charge manuscript processing fees to authors whose papers are rejected by reviewers. In such cases, the editorial board covers the costs associated with a range of editorial services, including accepting and registering manuscripts, initially reviewing them for compliance with the journal's requirements, finding reviewers for expert review, and informing authors of the review results.
The manuscript processing and review fees established by the journal's editorial board are not a means of profit. All funds received from authors are used exclusively to cover editorial and publishing expenses. These expenses include ensuring high publication quality standards, technical preparation of materials, peer review support, and administrative and organizational costs associated with the scientific publication process.
Thus, the established fee serves the purpose of ensuring the sustainable operation of the journal and improving the quality of scientific publications.
The editorial board works directly with authors, without intermediaries. If any companies or individuals offer to publish in our journal for a fee, offering intermediary services, all such offers are illegal, and we ask that you report such violations to us. Email: scienceandsport@yandex.ru
Manuscript processing fees are waived for:
Full-time postgraduate students* (support for young scientists). Postgraduate status must be confirmed by a certificate of enrollment in postgraduate study, certified by the signature of the supervisor and the organization's seal. Scientific articles by full-time postgraduate students are published in a sequence of no more than 3 articles in one issue of the journal;
Employees of the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sport, and Tourism (promotion of the scientific activity of the founder's employees), working full-time*;
Members of the Editorial Board* (a form of gratitude and professional incentives).
*- If the article is co-authored, the publication fee is charged partially.
The editorial policy also stipulates a limitation: the total share of articles published by authors who are employees of the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sport, and Tourism and/or members of the Editorial Board does not exceed 25% of the total number of articles in each issue of the journal. This is aimed at ensuring editorial independence, preventing conflicts of interest, and maintaining the journal's high academic reputation. It also complies with the requirements of good scientific publishing practices and the standards of international indexing databases.
In cases of non-payment for manuscript processing services, the editors will destroy the manuscript ready for publication, returning the original text to the author(s). Publication in such cases is not possible. The editors will cover the costs of manuscript processing.
Manuscript processing fee:
1 page of author's text (A4 format, 12 font size, 1.5 spacing, Times New Roman font) costs 1,200 rubles.
