The purpose of the research is to determine the model characteristics of psychophysiological parameters (grip strength and strength endurance) of female arm wrestlers of various sports qualifications.

Methods and organization of research. A laboratory study of the grip strength of 27 women engaged in arm wrestling was conducted using a dynamometry test with the help of NS-Psychotest 2.0. (Russia). All subjects were divided into two groups, according to their sports qualifications: qualified and unqualified athletes.

Research results and their discussion. The analysis of the study results showed a high level of strength training of female athletes, where the maximum muscle strength was 38.6± 6.36 in the group of athletes with high sports qualifications, and 30.14±2.41 in those without high qualifications. The endurance index did not differ between the two study groups. However, the duration of holding was longer in the group of highly qualified athletes, which indicates their insufficient level of strength endurance.

Conclusion. It has been revealed that grip strength in arm wrestling is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon that requires a comprehensive approach to study and training. It includes both physical and psychological aspects, and its understanding is necessary to achieve high sports results.
