Article
The research purpose is to develop and present an algorithm for implementing scientific and practical activities of a student sports club.
Methods and organization of research. The scientific work was carried out on the basis of methods of analysis of scientific and methodological literature, data generalization, logical interpretation and modeling.
Research results and their discussion. A lot of attention is paid to the activities of sports clubs in the university. They can carry out their work not only in the health, recreational, sports areas, but also in the scientific field. The article presents the developed algorithm of scientific activity of the sports club. Its preparatory stage is aimed at determining the problem of the study, selecting diagnostic methods. The implementation stage consists of the direct justification of the innovation. The final stage is aimed at summarizing the materials and highlighting the results of the study. The developed algorithm is described using the example of involving representatives of the university's men's and women's football teams in scientific work and implementing a project to use it with mentally retarded schoolchildren.
Conclusion. The work carried out allows us to draw a conclusion about the possibility of scientific activity of a sports club at a university and the involvement of representatives of national sports teams in this work. This makes it possible to increase the number of students engaged in scientific work.
