The purpose of the research is a systematic analysis of the motor activity of freestyle skiers in the moguls.

Methods and organization of the research. The methods of theoretical analysis and generalization of practical experience, video surveillance and video analysis were used in the work. The research methodology is based on the use of the basic principles and provisions of the systematic approach.

Research results and discussion. The study obtained new data on the specifics of motor activity of freestyle skiers performing in the moguls discipline. It has been established that the system-forming factors of motor activity of mogulists are the dynamic balance of athletes in different conditions and positions and body control when descending a snowy slope. The use of system-forming factors made it possible to concretize and define the key concepts of motor activity of mogulists: "Dynamic balance of a mogulist" and "Motor activity of athletes in the moguls".

Conclusion. The revealed data on the peculiarities of motor activity of mogulists create favorable conditions for the preparation of methodological recommendations for the development of various physical qualities and improvement of sports skills, as well as the creation of an adequate system of pedagogical control of athletes' fitness in the moguls.
