The purpose of the research: to consider and evaluate the team technical and tactical actions of professional football teams of the Russian Youth Football League.

Methods and organization of the research. The following research methods were used in the work: analysis and generalization of data from professional literature and practical experience in evaluating the competitive activities of highly qualified football players; video analysis and analysis of the championship; analysis of protocols of competitive activities of football players; methods of analytics and mathematical statistics. The data of the Rubin Football Club Academy team in the 2022-2023 Youth Football League Championship were considered.

Research results and their discussion. The main criteria for evaluating team actions that directly affect the outcome of the match were defined. Among them are both general match statistics and specially developed criteria that reflect the quality of the past game. Having collected all the statistics for the season, we analyzed all the data we received and tried to find a correlation between the figures and the final result. Optimal values of each criterion for achieving a positive result were found. These values were called the model characteristics of the team. These are the statistical indicators at which the team shows the maximum quality of the game. Based on these values, we defined 3 levels of team performance quality. By applying them to the overall statistics for the season, we revealed the dependence of the quality of the game on the result, which in percentage terms shows the probability with which a team can achieve a particular result with different levels of quality of team interactions.

Conclusion. Football is a team sport, and many things can affect the final result. Even with a team playing close to perfect, one individual mistake in the last minutes can decide the outcome of the match. However, the correct use of this theory can help the coaching staff to evaluate the team's technical and tactical actions and adjust their training and educational process in order to improve these indicators and achieve a positive result in the match.
