Article
The purpose of the research is to detail the methodology for conducting diagnostic studies of the neuromuscular apparatus based on measuring the latent time of evoked contraction.
Research methods: analysis of scientific research, method of latent time of evoked contraction (LTEC) registration.
In sports metrology the main requirements for testing and measurements to determine the state of an athlete or his abilities are standardization, informativeness, expediency and an adequate system for evaluating results. The analysis of scientific literature revealed differences in conducting, recording and interpreting the results of the current state of the neuromuscular apparatus in athletes of different sports according to the indicator of LTEC.
This article presents an algorithm that allows standardizing, detailing the methodology for assessing the current state of the neuromuscular apparatus registration in athletes when performing scientific research with the help of the Chronax-7 device on the index of LTEC. The settings of the Chronax-7 device itself, the topography of electrode application, the procedure for registration of LTEC and the results are presented.
