Article
The research purpose was to study the metabolic parameters of the body of students involved in athletics.
Methods and organization of the research. The survey was attended by 29 students of the M. K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University, engaged in athletics, on the basis of informed voluntary consent. A study of biochemical parameters of blood serum was carried out. The following calculated indicators were determined: de Ritis coefficient (AST/ALT), muscle tissue damage index (CPK/AST) and atherogenic coefficient (AC).
Results and discussion. According to the results of the study, deviations were identified with exceeding the range of normal values of CРK (p=0.004), alkaline phosphatase (p=0.042) and muscle damage index (CРK/AST) more than 10 c.u. (p=0.002) mainly among young men, and significant differences in urea levels (p=0.001) and creatinine (p=0.001).
Conclusion. The results obtained indicate the severity of metabolic processes among young men, possibly associated with a higher intensity of the training process. Protein-lipid parameters positively correlate with the level of adaptive potential of the examined people.
