The research purpose is the systematic analysis of the motor activity of freestyle skiers in ski cross.

Methods and organization of the research. The methods of theoretical analysis and generalization of research results, video analysis and a systematic approach were used in the study.

Results and discussion. The article shows the results of a systematic analysis of the specifics of the motor activity of ski cross athletes. The application of the methodology, provisions and principles of the systematic approach made it possible to determine the system-forming factors of the motor activity of ski crossers, which are dynamic balance on a sliding support and in a non-supporting position and body control during descent along the track. The use of the selected factors allowed us to characterize the key concepts of ski cross: "Dynamic balance of a ski crosser" and "Motor activity of athletes in ski cross".

Conclusion. The acquired knowledge about the specifics of motor activity creates favorable opportunities for the developing level assessments of various types of ski cross training.
