In the framework of this study, the parameters of the training load during complex training of biathletes were tested to meet the requirements of structural and functional similarity when improving the motor actions of a competitive exercise in the context of combining racing and shooting training.

The research purpose was to determine the parameters of the training load in the complex training of highly qualified
biathletes in the preparatory period.

Methods and organization of the research: analysis of protocols, pulsars of complex training in the preparatory period of six highly qualified female biathletes (1 international master of sports, 5 masters of sport).

Results. The tasks of improving motor actions when passing the shooting stage were solved exclusively by the method of conjugate influence. The parameters of the load performed by biathletes in the preparatory period have been identified.

Conclusion. The identified parameters of the training load showed that highly qualified biathletes, when passing the shooting stage in complex training of the preparatory period, do not achieve functional compliance with competitive activity.
