The article aims to analyze the use of digital tools in the figure skating training, influencing the effectiveness of a figure skating coach's career development as well as his/her professional skills.

The purpose of the research is to identify the potential of using digital technologies in the figure skating coaching.

Methods and organization of the research are related with the professionally oriented training of figure skating coaches in the context of digital transformation. We apply a methodology based on two approaches: reflective observation of the training process of skaters, and an analysis of existing methods of effective figure skating training using digital technologies.

Results and their discussion. The results of the study show that digital technologies increase the effectiveness of the training of figure skating coaches when using the technologies as tools that are successfully integrated into the training process of figure skaters.

Conclusion. The use of modern digital technologies is one of the rational ways to develop the professional competencies of figure skating coaches. The introduction of modern digital technologies into the practice of training figure skating coaches makes it possible to accurately assess training loads, the current state of athletes, simulate training load indicators in cycles of various durations, control the state of skaters' competition form based on objective hardware data.
