The purpose of the research is to identify the attitude of modern youth to the formation of values of a healthy lifestyle.
Methods and organization of the research. The research was conducted among students of higher education institutions of the Sverdlovsk region. 316 students aged 18 to 30 took part in the survey. Information was collected through questionnaires.
Research results and discussion. Data on current preferences of young people, as well as their attitude to a healthy lifestyle, from the open statistical source VCIOM are presented. The study conducted among students identified the motives that encourage them to engage in physical education and sports, recorded effective methods for popularizing a healthy lifestyle, as well as promotion channels taking into account the preferences of the modern younger generation.
Conclusion. The materials of the study confirm the need to develop a comprehensive program for a healthy lifestyle that involves more youth to engage in sports, eat right and take care of their health.
