Purpose of research: to develop and experimentally substantiate the effectiveness of the structural-content model of physical education for non-draft age men, contributing to compliance with official requirements of Russian National GTO Health and Fitness Program. Methods and organization of research. The study was carried out during the period from September 2014 till May 2016. The study brought together 60 non-draft age men aged 16-17 coming from Izhevsk secondary schools No. 86, No. 45 and No. 31. Two groups were created for the pedagogical experiment: the control group (n-29) and the experimental group (n-31). During pedagogical research, we applied a set of methods, including theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature; pedagogical observation; testing; pedagogical experiment; methods of mathematical and statistical processing of research results. Results of research. As a result of pedagogical research, we proved the effectiveness of an experimental program of the structural-content model of physical education for non-draft age men, and we revealed reliable intergroup differences (at P <0.05) in favor of the experimental group. Conclusion. The use of the experimental program within the third hour of the physical training class contributes to the variability of training sessions and the compliance with official requirements of Russian National GTO Health and Fitness Program.
