The research purpose is to substantiate, develop and experimentally test the effectiveness of the methodology for improving the balance technique in qualified female gymnasts taking into account the correction of postural balance.
Methods and organization of the research. The study involved 10 qualified female gymnasts aged 13-15 years of the training stage group (sports specialization stage) of the 3rd and 4th years of study. The experiment included studying the postural balance and balance technique before and after the introduction of the methodology.
Research results and their discussion. As a result of twelve corrective and developmental classes according to the methodology developed, qualified gymnasts experienced a decrease in the angle of the anterior pelvic tilt. By means of myofascial release, the alignment between the thigh and shin was restored. In the phase of the initial position, due to the restoration of alignment in the biomechanical chain "thigh-shin", the amplitude in the hip, knee, ankle joints increased (P <0.01). In the phase of the main actions, the range of amplitude in the hip joint on the left side was from 4 to 12 degrees (P < 0.01).
Conclusion. The systematic use of myofascial release tools (manual techniques and the use of roll and ball) for 12 days allowed statistically significant (P < 0.01) to improve of the condition of the fascia that ensures the amplitude of the execution of the balance technique in the frontal plane (lateral balance with a tilt to the side in the horizontal) and the sagittal plane (anterior vertical balance in a split with two grips).
