Article
Research purpose: to identify the characteristics of the manifestation of manipulative skills on tourist routes and to develop a list of exercises for their development.
Methods and organization of the research. The following research methods were used: theoretical analysis and generalization of data from scientific and methodological literature and reports of participants and leaders of hiking and water tourist trips; design and construction of technical devices; pedagogical experiment, dynamometry; methods of mathematical statistics.
Research results. Based on the results of the reports, a typical list of injuries and conditions associated with improper grip, holding and manipulation of various objects during the training practice was compiled. A list of the main grips used in a hiking trip was identified. An experiment was conducted to study the strength of the hands in the same movements with different types of grips, and a set of exercises was developed to strengthen the muscles of the forearm, hand and fingers for inclusion in practical classes in preparation for a hiking trip.
Conclusion. The article shows the role of different types of grips when lifting and carrying things and objects during a hiking trip. Six types of grips are identified, on which the effectiveness of a tourist’s actions depends. The relationship between different types of grip and the manifestation of absolute strength is shown. A minimum list of exercises for inclusion in the preparation of a tourist for a hike is developed.
