The purpose of the research is to assess the impact of rhythmic gymnastics on the body of women who lead a sedentary lifestyle.
Methods and organization of research. A study was carried out in two stages with the participation of 60 women aged 22-35, who lead a sedentary lifestyle. Participants were divided into experimental (n=30) and control (n=30) groups. In the first stage, anthropometric indicators (height, body mass) were assessed; functional parameters (GEL, resting CSSS, brush strength, Harvard spectra index); physical readiness (flexibility, force of the press, shoulder belt strength, explosive leg strength). In the second stage (4 months), the experimental group took care of rhythmic gymnastics (3 times a week for 1 hour) according to the method of T. S. Lisitzka (with three load series: standing, running, parting), and control - morning hygienic gymnastics.
Results of the study and their discussion. The baseline survey confirmed the comparability of the control and experimental groups for all parameters studied and found "below average" level of physical preparation of participants. After a 4-month experiment in the experimental group, statistically reliable improvements of anthropometric indicators were recorded: decrease in body mass; functional indicators: increase in body mass, increased strength of right and left brush. There is an increase in IGST corresponding to the range of "medium" values, which indicates acceleration of recovery processes and improvement of overall physical performance. In the women of the experimental group, flexibility, strength of the press muscles, strength of the shoulder girdle and explosive force of the lower limbs were statistically significantly increased. The control group showed a reliable increase in physical preparation for indicators such as flexibility and strength of the shoulder belt muscles. The CSO has not undergone significant changes in any of the observation groups.
Conclusion. The obtained data show the effectiveness of the developed method of rhythmic gymnastics, and can be used in healthy physical culture to correct the effects of a sedentary lifestyle in women aged 22-35.
