The purpose of the research is to identify the features of the training of female athletes in Thai boxing based on the consideration of gynecological status, well-being in different phases of the ovarian-menstrual cycle (OMC).

Research methods and organization: analysis of scientific and methodological literature and information sources, questioning, comparative analysis. The contingent of the examined is 58 athletes, whose average age was 21.91±1.16 years. The beginning of sports activities corresponded to 9.97±1.44 years, the experience of practicing Thai boxing in the group was 5.52±0.57 years.

Research results and their discussion. In the surveyed female athletes, on average, the onset of menarche corresponds to 11.95±0.51, which is a physiological norm. The duration of the experience in sports was 11.94 years, of which the last 5.52 years were in Thai boxing. Most athletes have a 28-day OMC. The duration of the menstrual phase did not exceed the physiological norm and corresponded to 5.52±0.57 days. Previously obtained scientific data of leading experts in women's sports regarding the subjective assessment of the state of athletes confirm that the fourth and fifth phases of OMC are the most unfavorable for physical activity. When asked about taking into account the OMC when planning the training process, more than half of the respondents answered that they did not discuss this issue with their coaches.

Conclusion. The duration of menstrual function is normal; the start of sports falls on the period preceding the onset of menarche. In the majority of athletes in the premenstrual and menstrual phases of OMC, a deterioration in the effectiveness of the training process was noted due to negative changes in the body that negatively affect the performance of athletes and their sports results. Most female athletes have male coaches and female athletes do not discuss their OMC with them. Also, knowledge in the field of women's sports and sports physiology among the surveyed is insignificant, which caused difficulty in answering the question about the need to reduce physical activity in the premenstrual and menstrual phases.
