The research purpose is to determine the development of the dominant of increasing strength in students after the suggestion of strength, based on the doctrine of the dominant of Academician A.A. Ukhtomsky. The aim of the research is to study the mechanisms of formation and work of the dominant of increasing physical strength in students by strengthening the dominant tone.

Methods and organization of the research. The study was conducted on 108 students (girls) of the first and second year of study of the State Agrarian University of the Northern Trans-Urals. The study consisted in recording the result of a three-time test with physical activity in the form of push-ups. Push-ups were carried out from the floor in the initial position of the emphasis lying. The first test was carried out in an arbitrary form, without suggestion, with the registration of the result. The second test was conducted with a two-minute suggestion of a maximum increase in physical strength after a 10-minute rest. The students developed the dominant force by suggesting a purposeful concentration of attention on physical effort to achieve the maximum increase in the number of push-ups from the floor. The third test was conducted after a 20-minute rest with a two-minute suggestion of relaxation and a promise to reduce physical strength.

Results and their discussion. After suggestion of strength in the second test with physical activity, the number of push-ups increased by 29% compared to the results of the first (control) test conducted without suggestion. After the suggestion for muscle relaxation with the formation of a weakening strength dominant in the third test, the number of push-ups decreased by 20% compared with the control result of the first test.

Conclusion. The results obtained with physical activity in the form of push-ups from the floor after suggestion for the formation of a strength dominant allowed us to develop a method for the formation of a muscle dominant and, for the first time, to quantify the properties of this dominant.
