The purpose of the research: theoretical and experimental substantiation of the technology for rationing physical activity based on digital HR data of wearable devices to improve the efficiency of health-improving activities.

Methods of the research. Theoretical analysis, synthesis of scientific publications’ data, statistical and ranking analysis.

Research results and their discussion. The technology of rationing physical activity of recreational physical training is considered. The problem of physical activity rationing has two contradictions: mass distribution of wearable technologies and insufficient use of their functionality to solve the problems of health-improving physical activity rationing; increasing the effectiveness of health-improving activities and the lack of modern technologies for determining personalized norms. To solve the problem of personalization of norms, it is proposed to apply the theory of rank analysis, which is promising in the study of daily non-Gaussian heart rate data obtained with wearable devices. The technology for physical activity rationing consists of the stages of preparation, collection and processing of data and development of proposals. Based on the results of the technology, personalized values of physical activity norms for three levels of training (initial, intermediate, advanced) are determined on the basis of lower, upper limits and training potential.

Conclusion. The resulting recommendations can be used as personalized physical activity guidelines and updated if necessary (monthly, quarterly or yearly). The resulting exercise norms can be monitored using a smartwatch both during and after exercise. At the same time, the obtained heart rate norms are personalized and suitable only for one person. The proposed technology allows to determine personalized norms of physical activity and make effective physical training and health improvement programs for those engaged in recreational physical education.
