MOTIVATION OF THE SECOND MATURE AGE WOMEN TO ENGAGE IN FITNESS AEROBICS (0.29 Mb, pdf) Read

Annotation:

The research purpose is to determine the preferences of women 40-49 years old in choosing fitness technologies to prepare them for passing the GTO standards.

Methods and organization of research. The study was conducted with the involvement of 28 women of the second mature age at the Municipal Budgetary Institution of Culture “Palace of Culture”, Tchaikovsky, Russia in the form of a questionnaire. Respondents need to complete 3 tasks: 1. Assessment of the values importance according to M. Rokich; 2. Determination of motives for fitness; 3. The choice of fitness technologies that women would like to engage in.

Results and their discussion. According to the results of the survey, Pilates, yoga and stretching became the most desirable directions in fitness for women of the second mature age. The main motive and value in classes is health care, it was noted as the main factor by the majority of respondents.

Conclusion. The results obtained formed the basis of a modular technology for training women of the second mature age to pass the GTO standards by means of fitness aerobics.
