The purpose of the research was to evaluate the changes in motor and research behavior in the "open field" test in the model of hindlimb unloading in rats, depending on age.

Materials and research methods. Open field test, 35-day hindlimb unloading.

Research results. Our data showed that 35-day hindlimb unloading changes the tentative research behavior of rats regardless of age. The exception turned out to be elderly rats, which requires further research.

Conclusion. The results showed that 35-day hindlimb unloading reduces motor activity in rats of both sexes and all age groups, except for the group of old males. We also noted that hindlimb unloading inhibits research activity in all age groups and in rats of both sexes.
