Annotation:

The article touches on the issues of urban planning in terms of stimulating of physically active lifestyle in urban environments. The paper studies the factors influencing the physical activity of the citizens. The main international documents and projects related to urban planning in order for creating comfortable and healthy (safe) conditions of life in the cities, including the city sports environment.
