Currently, the number of children with disabilities has surpassed the half a million mark. According to assessment of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation, the upcoming years will be marked with the growth of this indicator followed by the reducing number of residents, declining health indicators, and unfavored social situation in most Russian families. Adolescents predominate in the disability structure. In all age groups of children with disabilities, boys are playing the leading role (58%), the level of disability among them is higher than that of girls by 1.2-1.7 times. Analysis of the research results in recent years shows that the structure of children disability aged 0 - 17 is rather stable by nosological forms. Nervous system diseases, mental disorders (over 70% - mental retardation) and congenital developmental anomalies are the most frequent. Today educational institutions need implementation of new organizational forms of application of physical training means.
