The activity of law enforcement officers never turns to be secure and easy. Annually large number of law enforcement officers are injured by criminals or perish. Traditionally offenders are strong, young, impudent and cruel individuals, many of them have combat skills applicable in diverse situations including close-in fights. Being untrained, weak of spirit and flesh, a law enforcement officer will not be able to shoulder his responsibilities and to suppress or prevent the crime, but he also risks losing life or health while struggling against such criminals. He can be humiliated, offended that is not so dangerous for the officer, but it can foster the sense of impunity of offenders, audacity and insolence of violations. Internal Affairs agencies carry out training on countering criminals at firearms, physical and psychological training classes. These courses include studying methods of blocking attacks, apprehension or psychological impact on criminals. In this paper we have considered the main directions of physical education for law enforcement officers being prepared for professional activity.
