The article is devoted to the definition of possible direct and indirect socio-economic effects of the World Cup soccer in 2018. The forecasts are based on the analysis of the FIFA World Cup 2010 and 2014. In constructing the projections took into account a multiplicative effect on the basis of the model of "cost-benefit" Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). As a result, the forecast was formed by the distribution of income from tourists by the sect-frames of the economy during 2018 and predicted to obtain direct and braid-venous effects by sector is not directly related to the 2018 World Cup.
