Annotation:

This article reflects the development of Cycling and roller-sport in the Crimea before the October revolution of 1917. It is established that in the late XIX - early XX centuries Cycling begins ones develop in the Crimean cities, where are the Amateur cyclists organizations was created. To practice built cycle tracks that become centers of sporting life in the Crimean cities. Crimean cyclists are actively involved in the competition between cities of the Crimea and of the Russian Empire and demonstrate high results. Crimean athlete S. P. Pesterev takes part in the V Olympic Games in Stockholm 1912, Games of the first and second All-Russian Olympiad (1913 and 1914).
