In the article, the indicators of postural stability in highly skilled athletes and persons not engaged in sports before and after submaximal aerobic load are investigated. We found that muscular load causes a decrease in postural stability in all subjects. However, the lowest decrease in the level of postural stability after physical exertion was revealed in sportsmen of situational and cyclic sports, which differed significantly from those of shooters. Non-athletes found a lower level of postural stability compared to athletes, which was significantly reduced after a muscular load.
