Authors:
Stolyarov Vladislav Ivanovitch
Annotation:

There are certain achievements in the development of the modern theory of physical education. However some difficulties and problems still exist. Firstly, we can see that a simplified interpretation of tasks, forms and methods of physical education still prevails. Secondly, the principles of the dialectical method are not taken into consideration. Thirdly, the conceptual apparatus does not satisfy the logic and methodology requirements of the scientific cognition. The author developed the general theory of the integrative physical education as system, which involves three closely related elements: somatic education, personal-motor education and sport education. The focus on pragmatic, humanistic or any other values defines different models of integrative physical education and its elements (components). The effective solutions within this integrative educational activity include the range of appropriate forms and methods, which have been developed and introduced in different countries.
