Annotation:

This article is devoted to relevant issues of amateur boxing in the Republic of Tatarstan. We examine the «gender» component of amateur boxing, followed the experience of training coaches of amateur boxing on the example of Arsk, the town in the Republic of Tatarstan. Based on the empirical studies we have analyzed the attitude of parents to engagement of their children in amateur boxing at children and youth sports school «Archa» in Arsk.
