Annotation:

The relationship features of electroneuromyographic parameters (namely, the motor nerve conduction velocity and soleus muscle H- and M-responses amplitude) and the ion concentration of calcium, potassium, chloride and sodium in highly skilled athletes performing in cyclic sports at the beginning of the preparatory period were analyzed. It was found that in the first group of athletes (specializing in rowing and biathlon) with normal ion concentration of calcium nerve conduction velocity was significantly (р < 0,05) higher than in the second athletes group with abnormal low ion concentration of calcium. The obtained data can be used to assess and correct the functional state of the athletes neuromuscular system.
