Аннотация:

Статья посвящена анализу и обощению современных научных воззрений, представленных в зарубежных публикациях по проблематике устойчивого развития спорта в городах. В ней содержится обзор преимущественно англоязычных источников, в которых раскрываются основные задачи городского планирования («urban planning») в контексте спорта. Выделены и проанализированы такие цели планирования спорта в городе, как формирование здорового образа жизни населения, развитие интеллектуального потенциала, развитие социального капитала, социальная интеграция, снижение уровня преступности в городе.
