Research purpose: to develop and implement video-based introductory gymnastics complexes aimed at the prevention and correction of musculoskeletal system disorders in primary school children.
Methods and research design. The study was conducted at School No. 1476 in Moscow among students in grades 3-4. Tests were used to assess posture and foot arch condition, as well as a questionnaire aimed at studying motivational and emotional factors and students' attitudes toward introductory gymnastics. Data processing was carried out using methods of mathematical statistics.
Results and discussion. The study revealed an increased prevalence of postural disorders and foot arch abnormalities among 3rd-4th grade students, indicating functional changes in the musculoskeletal system and a risk of developing flat feet. Based on the obtained data, a system of introductory gymnastics in the form of video complexes was developed and implemented, aimed at posture correction and strengthening the muscles of the back and feet.
Conclusion. The conducted study confirmed the effectiveness of implementing preventive and corrective video gymnastics complexes for primary school children, contributing to improved musculoskeletal system condition, general well-being, motivation, attention, and emotional background of students. The complexes are successfully used in the educational process at School No. 1476 and are recommended for implementation in other educational institutions.
