EXAMINATION OF DISSERTATIONS ON PROBLEMS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORTS

The article presents an analysis of dissertations in new scientific specialties that have been examined by the expert council on pedagogy and psychology - 5.8.4. Physical culture and professional physical training, 5.8.5. Theory and methodology of sports, 5.8.6. Health-improving and adaptive physical culture. Of interest are the problem areas of research in each specialty, as well as information on the number of defended dissertations in these specialties in the country's universities. In addition, the authors of the article formulated shortcomings, reflecting the incorrectness of the methodological apparatus of the research, methodological errors in organizing and describing experimental research, the lack of correlation of the scientific results obtained by the author with the objective broader reality. The analysis showed a decrease in 2023 in the number of certification cases submitted to the expert council of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation in pedagogy and psychology for this group of specialties. According to the authors, this is due to the process of re-registration and opening of dissertation councils in accordance with new specialty passports, as well as increasing quality requirements and the introduction of clear criteria for the evidence of scientific research in the field of educational sciences.
