The aim of research is to study the current results level for competitions in indoor rowing with ergometers in the Russian Federation and compare them with the world ones. To identify the factors and training regimes that can contribute to an increase in this level. Materials and methods. We analyzed the results obtained by the leading rowers of the Russian Federation and compared them with the results of the world's leading rowers. We also analyzed the literature on the mode of training in sports for endurance, which led to the generally recognized significant increase in athletic performance, and the possibility of adapting these approaches to rowing. Results. A training regime for rowers is proposed, taking into account the training dynamics of changes in the anaerobic metabolism threshold and other factors determining the performance of rowers in competitions on the rowing ergometer, which can also be used to conduct water training.
